In the warehouse of our office, you can leave your suitcases or extra luggage. Then we will take you to the boat pier (port), here we will board our motor boat and start our journey on the Madre de Dios River, until we reach our lodge that is located in the heart of the tropical jungle.

After lunch and settling in at the lodge, we will continue with our adventure. We will visit the monkeys island, and as its name indicates, the island is home to different species of monkeys. Our guide will always be explaining to us the way of life of the different species of monkeys that live here. After this experience, we will return to our lodge; At the lodge, our team will serve us exclusive Amazonian food for dinner. After dinner, we will have the option of taking a short night tour to spot caimans (alligators).

DAY 2 / TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE - SANDOVAL LAKE PERU - PUERTO MALDONADO:

We will start the day quite early, at dawn we will travel in our motor boat to see a parrots clay lick. This is an unmissable activity in the Tambopata National Reserve; where hundreds of brightly colored parrots, macaws and parakeets flock to eat the clay that is rich in salts and minerals that these birds use as a supplement to their diet of fruits and seeds (they help eliminate toxins); our guide will explain this to us in detail, since we will witness this morning activity of different species that will fly over us. After witnessing this activity, we will return to the lodge to enjoy an authentic Amazonian breakfast.

After breakfast, we will cross the Madre de Dios River, and we will walk for approximately one hour (03 km.); During this walk, the guide will explain to us about the biodiversity of life that exists here in the Amazon jungle. After the hike, we will witness the beauty of Sandoval Lake in Peru, a paradise for nature lovers. Here we will be able to observe many animals (birds, reptiles and mammals), for which we will go to the farthest part of the lake in our boat and thus try to see the animals more closely.

Sandoval Lake is also home of giant otters (endangered animals) and black caimans (the largest on record is five meters long). After this experience, we will have lunch in the reserve area. Then we will return to the lodge to check out. We will take the boat back to Puerto Maldonado. Our team will meet at the pier, and then transfer to the office, downtown, airport or bus terminal in Puerto Maldonado. End of service...
